A Look at the Pricing and Specifications for the 2025 Mazda CX-90
October 10 2024,
Mazda has announced the pricing and specifications of the 2025 version of the CX-90, its largest and most luxurious SUV. For its second year on the market, this model continues mostly unchanged, keeping everything that has already made it popular with driving enthusiasts who need a lot of space in their vehicles. Here is a closer look:
Mechanical Elements
The 2025 CX-90 continues to be built on Mazda's electrified Large Platform, featuring double wishbone front suspension, multilink rear suspension, and standard i-Activ AWD. The model incorporates Mazda Kinematic Posture Control technology, enhancing driving precision and grip.
Two powertrain options are available for the 2025 Mazda CX-90. The entry-level MHEV variants are equipped with an e-Skyactiv G 3.3 Turbo engine, producing 280 horsepower and 332 lb-ft of torque. This engine achieves NRCan fuel ratings of 9.9 L/100km city, 8.4 L/100km highway, and 9.3 L/100km combined. The PHEV models feature a 2.5-litre engine combined with an electric motor, delivering 323 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque, with an EV mode range of 42 km. The top-of-the-line GT-P and Signature models are powered by a high-output version of the six-cylinder engine which develops 340 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque.
Interior Features
The 2025 Mazda CX-90 MHEV GS-L and GT trims offer flexible seating configurations, with options for 8-passenger seating or 7-passenger captain's chairs. These models include features such as wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, 19-inch alloy wheels, and a towing capacity of 5,000 lbs when equipped with the appropriate towing accessories.
PHEV models come with Mi-Drive, offering Sport, Off-Road, and EV drive modes. A new 12.3-inch digital instrument display is also included as standard in these variants.
Higher-end MHEV trims like the Signature model provide additional luxury and safety features such as a six-passenger layout with premium Nappa leather, genuine wood accents and advanced technology features. Enhanced safety features such as Emergency Lane Keeping and a 360° View Monitor are also included.
Pricing
Pricing for the 2025 Mazda CX-90 starts at $45,900 for the MHEV GS model, followed by the GS-L at $50,750. Other MHEV models include the $55,350 GT, the $59,300 GT-P, and the $63,300 Signature.
Plug-in variants are the $54,900 GS, the $59,750 GS-L, and the $64,350 GT. Since the PHEV lineup is limited to only three trim levels, the GT version benefits from additional features over the MHEV GT in order to make it more comparable to the mild-hybrid-only Signature.
All 2025 CX-90 models come with a two-year complimentary subscription to Mazda Connected Services, allowing drivers to monitor and control their vehicle remotely through the MyMazda app.
