The 2023 Mazda CX-50 is Offered with two engines. Here are some details about each
June 10 2022,

The 2023 Mazda CX-50 is available with two versions of the same 2.5L engine: one with a turbocharger and one without.
The standard engine
The 2023 Mazda CX-50 comes standard with an engine that is likely familiar to Mazda owners since this 2.5 L four-cylinder has already been used in a number of the company’s vehicles. This proven engine delivers 187 horsepower and 186 lb-ft of torque through a standard six-speed automatic transmission and the new i-Activ all-wheel-drive system.
In terms of fuel economy, this engine impresses by showing low consumption figures that average around 9.7 L/100 kilometers in the city and 7.9 L/100 kilometers on the highway. This makes the CX-50 compare favorably to many of its competitors, despite not having the complexity of a hybrid powertrain.
The turbocharged engine
The 2023 Mazda CX-50 is also available with a turbocharged version of the same 2.5L engine aimed at drivers who want a more dynamic vehicle that is powerful and refined. The turbo engine delivers 356 horsepower and 320 ft-lb of torque to all four wheels, which allows for a 0 to 100 km/h acceleration time of only a little over 6.6 seconds. These numbers are obtained by using 93 octane premium-grade fuel, but the engine is perfectly capable of running on regular-grade 87 octane, in which case the computer will change parameters which will limit the output to 227 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque, still more than many other SUVs in the same category.
This engine also increases the towing rating of the CX-50, which jumps to 3,500 pounds, one of the highest tow ratings in its category. This lends itself well to the rugged and adventurous image portrayed by the CX-50 by making it possible to tow a boat or a small camper to spend the weekend in a national park, for example.
