What’s new on the 2022 Mazda CX-5 ?
January 31 2022,

Mazda renewed the CX-5 for 2022 by giving it a more modern style and a host of new standard and available features which make it an even better choice in its category.
More features
The 2022 Mazda CX-5 is equipped with new features and characteristics that give it a more modern a more premium feel than its competitors and the outgoing model. For example, the i-Activ AWD system is now standard across the range in order to increase the safety and the capabilities of every CX-5 without having to add expensive options. This system adds stability when driving on slippery surfaces and it will prevent you from getting stuck in snow in places many other vehicles can’t go. The all-wheel drive system is also beneficial on dry surfaces, where it improves the sporty handling and the driving dynamics for which Mazda is known. A torque vectoring system can transfer the engine’s torque to the outside wheels in a tight corner in order to sharpen the turn-in and launch the vehicle out of the bend. Inside, new front seats have been designed in order to improve comfort, particularly on longer trips.
A new style
The 2022 Mazda CX-5 enhances and modernises the style of the previous model in order to make it compare favorably with vehicles that are much more expensive. The new LED light modules in the front and in the rear give the CX-5 a distinctive appearance that makes it stand out even at night, while the new grille and the new wheels make it look definitely more modern than before. The new grille design features 3D textures instead of the outgoing mesh material and the signature Mazda “wings” that surround it have been extended further outwards. The front and the rear ends of the CX-5 have also been refined by adding character lines and removing reflective surfaces to create a more elegant and streamlined look.
